Tandoor India first opened its door to serve the finest Indian Food to the University Of Pennsylvania students and staff in Summer of 1991. Tandoor's dishes are derived from traditional Moghul cuisine where fish, meat and game are cooked in the authentic Tandoor (Clay Oven) style of North West India. While Chicken Tikka Masala remains the favorite of our guests, Tandoor philosophy is driven by a desire to present the eclectic and expansive Indian repertoire, bursting with flavor and originality, as a multi-sensory dining experience.

Tandoor India's Philadelphia locations offer fine dining, private event space, catering and take out at our University City, Fishtown and Collegeville locations.
